My name is Kevin D. Brady.  I enjoy writing and have enjoyed it since I was about seven.  It wasn't until I focused on writing a story for a Halloween contest my local paper was sponsoring in 1998 that I started to venture back into writing as a grownup.  My story was so funny to my mom once I let her read it that she laughed until tears fell from her eyes.  This prompted me to keep adding and adding to it ending up with a 200 page book, "A Helluva Home."  After a failed attempt to publish it in 1999 after being quoted a hefty price of $7,700.00 to publish it, I put it on the back burner and did nothing with it for sixteen years.  During this time, I was a car salesman for four years, held some plant jobs around town for four years, and later was an office manager and helper for my wife in her daycare for seven years.  In 2015, I finally decided to follow a friend's advice to write about the "real" ghost experiences I had encountered in my life; this friend told me this as a counter proposal to the made up story "A Helluva Home" I had showed him.  I published this real story, "Ghostly Encounters" that year as an ebook with smashwords.com after someone told me about their free publishing on Yahoo Answers.  After Googling "free paperback publishers" on the internet, I discovered Createspace.  I then published "Ghostly Encounters" through them as a paperback.  I now have a total of sixteen books out on Amazon in both ebook and paperback formats....Ghostly Encounters, The Sinless House, A Helluva Home, Fat-Man: the Dream Hero, K.D.Brady's Four-In-One Holiday Collection, Won't God Do It?, Funny Things Mama Said and Did, Blood Thirst, The Officer, The Self-Defense App, Payback, Martha's Revenge, The Code, Dead Phone, My Two Cents, and Crazy.

I'm originally from Ft. Lauderdale, FL.  I've lived in Bulloch County since 1980 when my parents moved back to my dad's home state.  We lived in Brooklet, GA for six months before settling in Statesboro in 1982 once my parents found an old fixer upper house which they later moved to their own property the next year.  I graduated from Statesboro High School in 1985 as an Honor Graduate but got hit by a car while attending Morris Brown College in Atlanta that November while in my first semester.  After my broken leg mended up, I started at Georgia Southern University in 1987 but stopped after two quarters to help run my family's car wash, Brady's Auto Clean-Up.  Seven years rolled by before I made it back, but when I did in 1995, I kept on nonstop until I obtained my Bachelor of Business Administration in 1998.  I am married to my wife, Charlene, who has given me book ideas for four of my books and continues to give me book ideas and help me with my book covers and advertising.  I have a son, daughter in law, and three cute as a button grandkids.  I enjoy fishing, writing, reading, traveling, playing lottery, going to church, watching good movies, especially spooky ones, playing golf, and going to yard sales.
